Because of my love for margaritas and tacos, my bach theme was “Margaritas and Matrimony”. My girls let me know that it actually makes packing for a Bach easier to have guidance on outfits, so while I didn’t have elaborate themes each day/night, I did make specific color requests to keep things fun. And for the photos, obviously.
Day 1 – Dinner & Dancing
I was so excited for my bachelorette that I ended up driving out to Palm Springs early and spent a chill night at the Saguaro hotel. I slept in a bit before treating myself to a blowout at Tiny Bubbles Salon (see Darren!) and some shopping at the boutiques in downtown Palm Springs. My lovely friends all started to arrive while I was out shopping and we were lucky enough to check into the Airbnb way earlier than anticipated, which was fabulous!
What We Wore: Shades of Pink | Bride in Nadine Merabi
- Besties Arrive, Unpack, Get Partying!
- Dinner at GiGi’s – they have their cocktails in the cutest bird glasses and the food was delish!
- Copa Night Club
- Late Night Karaoke
Day 2 – Pool Party
What We Wore: Bright Swimsuits | Bride in White
What We Wore PM: All Black | Bride in Silver Rhinestones
We somehow managed to be in Palm Springs during the one rainy day they have a year – love that for me! Anyway, this obviously put kind of a damper on the pool party we planned to have, but rest assured, a little rain did not stop the party. We made the most of it by lounging poolside while we could and moved to an indoor day party during the rain.
- Dinner at Tac/Quila – The food AND margaritas at Tac/Quila are incredible! If you love a spicy margarita, do yourself a favor and make a reservation to eat here! I had the Spicy Refescado and Tacos.
- Drag Show at Toucans Tiki Lounge – This was my first drag show experience and I loved every second of it! I have nothing to compare too, but if you’re a bride to be, the queens at Toucans will be all over you during the show. If you’re not into that, you may want to give this one a pass.
- Cocktails & Games at the house
Day 3
What We Wore: Custom Bach Tees | I wore BRIDE Sweatshirt
- Clean Up and Check Out
- Brunch at Boozehounds – from the name you might have guessed it’s dog friendly, so you get to spend your morning enjoying excellent food AND be surrounded by all the cute dogs!
- Travel Home for everyone
THE OUTFITS
Here’s a roundup of all the outfits I wore during my Palm Springs bachelorette. LOTS of questions on outfits that I wore so I wanted to make it easy and put them all in one spot for you! If you see an outfit you like just click on the picture below and you will be brought to the outfit details!
Where We Stayed
You can book our AirBnB Here. One thing to note in Palm Springs, they have noise ordinance and stricter rules than most destinations for their rentals. You will see this all over any Palm Springs listings and be reminded by your host several times. We’ve stayed in Palm Springs a number of times and have never had any issue – my Bach weekend included. Local resorts and hotels offer day passes to their pools if you’d rather go that route – my recommendation would be The Saguaro Pool.
