I feel like I’ve been seeing light therapy pop up EVERYWHERE lately. It is definitely a “buzz word” within the wellness world this year. Because I kept seeing and hearing about light therapy, I jumped at the chance to try out the LEDA Blue from Vanity Planet. The LEDA blue light doubles as a Sonic Facal Brush and is FDA approved! So, about three months ago I received my own portable blue light and I was excited to get started! Keep reading for the benefits & my thoughts on the LEDA Blue Sonic Facial Brush!
I was initially drawn to blue light because of the claims to cleanse sensitive skin and combat acne. LEDA Blue offers a deep-cleansing massage and reparative FDA-cleared blue LED light therapy. In just a few minutes per day, you’ll combat pore-clogging impurities with gentle, sonic-powered antibacterial silicone bristles in 3 customizable modes. The best part? Your multi-tasking skincare skills just went next level since you’ll be cleansing your complexion while using blue-light wavelengths to kill blemish-causing bacteria and limiting sebaceous gland activity for less oil production—clear skin is in your future!
Benefits of Blue Light:
- Deep clean blemish-prone skin with gentle blue LED light skin therapy
- Gentle sonic-powered antibacterial silicone brush removes pore-clogging impurities
- Dermatologists agree that blue LED light therapy benefits those with acne
I’ve been using mine for about three months now so I feel I can completely speak to the benefits. In summary: I LOVE IT! The LEDA is so light and compact it’s easy to store and to travel with. It comes in a cute little pink carrying case and only needs to be charged once per week.
In using my blue light device pretty consistently, the biggest improvement I’ve noticed is my skin feels less congested and my breakouts have reduced significantly. I also love that the blue light can be used as a spot treatment on the odd pimple that decides to pop-up at the most inconvenient time.
If you don’t suffer from acne, Vanity Planet also has a LEDA Red, which improves skin’s appearance and builds collagen using Red LED light.
